We did it! For two hours on Friday 13th November 2009 South Africa made history, showcasing our Mother City's most recognised landmark for all the world to see. Joining forces with fellow countries accross the globe, South Africa firmly took a stand on World Diabetes Day, accepting the challenge of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) to illuminate the most distinguished monuments and landmarks around the world in blue.
